Thanksgiving and Christmas

Looks like I'll be spending Thanksgiving and possibly Christmas along this year.

My fiance found out she'll be heading to Antarctica for a research collecting trip for a month and they're leaving around November 23, they hope to be back by Christmas but aren't expecting it. It's a great opportunity for her but damn....I want to be selfish.

That's too bad, but good for her.

Hopefully it's only the month and not 3, winter isn't the best time for flights in and out of Antarctica.

Well...dunno anything about flying in. All I know is they're supposed to be on some big-assed research vessel.
