Spoke to HR after they contacted me...very friendly and such, and then they said they would go ahead and forward my stuff to the hiring managers.

I've never actually had an internship per-say. Co-ops and such yes, but never in my field, and this one is engineering-related (FINALLY! ), so I'm not to sure what to make of that.

Anyone?

What have you done so far in this/what stuff did you give them? It sounds like they will send your resume etc to the engineering managers that are hiring interns... then those people will decide if they want to bring you in for an interview. ?

edit: I mean there may be several teams hiring interns, each one will decide on their own if they want to interview you for their team. If multiple want to interview you, they may do it individually or together.
