Thanks to this forum I bought the DMC-TZ4 years ago.. but what for indoors?

I found that the Lx3/Lx5 still use the proprietary USB connector that my TZ4 uses. No thanks. I'm not getting another Panasonic, going with a Powershot for my parents. Tired of this type of BS when you lose a cable you can't just use a standard one.

edit- I can't find my TZ4 usb cable so have been forced to doing everything on the external card.

S95 looks perfect, has video recording, which I used in Europe and loved having in 1 device. Just need to get my brother to agree to go halfsies for this to be their xmas gift. Still open to suggestions. When I need a new camera, something like the S95 is what I'd like to have. Nice point and shoot that mom could put in a purse.

Anyone know if the S95 accepts aftermarket batteries?
