I was researching online for ideas on how to mount a flat screen to the front of a fireplace I have in my home without drilling into the brickwork when I stumbled across this particularly useful thread by LokutusofBorg. Using his photos and sketches, I was able to create a similar mounting.

After I replace the DVD player and the Roku box with the new blu-ray player I have on order, I will clean up the wiring and mount the center channel speaker to sit over the gear.
