I discovered Anandtech about 6 months ago and because of it, and the help I've received here with a few questions, I decided to build a system with my 8 and 10 year olds for Christmas. Here is what we put together:

Athlon 64 X2 3800+
2 GB Corsair Value Select
250 GB Western Digital Caviar HDD
EVGA 6800 GS
Antec Sonata II
Dell 1905FP
Win XP Home

Everything went fine with a few small problems that people here helped me solve. So thanks to everyone here, it's great to have a place to get help and answers.

 
Waffles, it's not for them, I thought it would be interesting for them to learn what goes in to a computer so they helped me put it together. The system is for my wife and me, the old PIII will be for them.
 
I have been building systems for over 10 years...I have to admit it still feels just as good today as it did my first time when a system is completed, up and running. Nothing like a job well done! Congrats on you new system.
