I've been popping in every now and again to read some of the posts, and a lot of what you guys have said has been usefull in my system upgrade. I just got myself a new Mobo and a nice 146 Opteron with CNPS9500 fan....... thanks mostly to a lot of posts and guides on this forum.

I'm a noob as far as overclocking goes, so im taking it slow and simple, jsut trying to see how far i can push my processor on stock atm, but i have plenty of temperature to play with, im getting maybe 36-37 at load atm. after i figure how far i can push the CPU, ill test the ram and try to reach a compromise (though i know the ram isnt amazing).

To be fair i prob wont max out the CPU/ram, for now a moderate boost in games over my old 2600+ will be fine, but it's nice to know i'll have extra room to push if i need it in the future.

Anyway, thanks!
