I have installed this fine piece of hardware and I tell you one thing, so far it is EXCEPTIONAL. First of all, the 2d on this card is ALMOST as sharp as with my g400max at 1280x1024x32x85. There is a SLIGHT difference, but most people couldn't pick it up. I HIGHLY recommend this card to any g400 owner currently who is waiting for the beloved g800, LIKE ME
Now to the benchmarks....
I've only managed to benchmark this for an hour so take it with a grain of salt. Although I did get a chance to OC the sucka! Let me tell you one thing, my card did come clocked at the base 166/166. However, I was able to (so far) push it up to 196/196 with no artifacts! I ran some loops of q3arena and I got 51fps! UNBELIEVABLE. Btw, I am running on a 1080GHz kt7-raid athlon with w2k and NO PROBLEMS!!!!(so far)
In conclusion, I thank those who helped me decide on this card. It will DEFINATELY hold me over until the G800!!!!
p.s I used the latest beta w2k driver.
