My male cat will lick and paw at my monitor if it sees the mouse cursor moving around. Or sometimes if he sees certain other animations.

My female cat will not even look at the monitor. She will walk around the desk and look for interesting things to bite. Usually it is a piece of paper, which she seems to think is some sort of tasty prey.
 
I just forwarded that to my co-workers. Pretty much a universal "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" from the women.
