Just wanted to thank most of you guys for the help you gave (without knowing it!) I have lurked around the boards for a while getting pieces of useful info on my first build. I may have gone astray or a little overboard on some parts, but it went flawlessly. It took about 5-6 hours and it was up and running without any problems. I ran some of the suggested programs (prime95, memtest, etc) for a couple of days with no errors. I spent yesterday sleeving the cables to improve the looks and airflow and it looks great to me! Again, thanks for your help and remember that there are a lot of people like me looking so your advice really does matter. Now that I got the build done, it's time to read up on overclocking!!!

I also recommend mechBgon's guide to any first time builder. It was a great help especially w/ the pictures.

Welcome to the Forums slsmnaz! :) Wow, sleeved cabling even! :D Got any :camera:'s?

I just did a re-work of the guide and am also working on an alternate version of every page that's re-written specifically for auto-translation by language-translating websites like Google's. That oughta keep me out of the bars all week! ;)
