My old setup was a:
P3 533
128 pc133 ram
Voodoo 5 5500
20 gig maxtor drive
4x hp cd/rw

So I think i am in for a nice performance boost :)
You guys rock :) I got so much information from the boards I feel like
I should send in tuition money. hehe

Yes you are. You did remember to buy the 512 MB as two 256 MB sticks, right? ;)

No, I bought one 512 stick but plan on buying another 512 later on when I am not as broke :)

You need to have two DIMMs to feed your dual channel memory and 800 Mhz bus, or you'll be severely lacking in performance. In other words, you essentially wasted money on a 2.8c. So I would return the one DIMM and get twin pairs of 256, or bite the bullet and get another 512 MB DIMM now.
