I had a Diamond MX300 that doesn't work. I bought a Maxi Sound MUSE that is supposed to work, but the rear channel doesn't seem to play no matter what I do. I've tried the latest drivers for both. SBLive okay? I'm thinking about the X-Gamer. Any suggestions?

I went with the X-Gamer. After minor hair pulling, everything works good. Great card. I'll have to get the 5.1 speakers now.

Heh, it didn't take me too long. I just brought that Maxi Sound back, got store credit, and applied it to the X-Gamer. Could have saved some money doing the internet route, but I was impatient.
