got the email and am in, no problems

but it is too dark, like looking into a hole

It seems to have worked though. I just tried it again and it says my email address has already been registered.
 
oh well... as long as it works it's all good... I imagine it wont ever get that much usage so as long as it works now that's all that matters...

(I'm running it on windows 2003 server on a pentium II 300mhz pile I have lying around, and it's also on a 256kb upload)

did you ever read about/visit the web site powered by a potato? it doesn't take that much juice to do a static web site. a forum on php of course would never run on a potato though
