Okay so I"m going over my notes tonight and I'm confused hardcore.

Decimal number is 24032
Since we are talking about "hexidecimal" here we are talking about a base 16 numbering system.

24032/16= 1502 remainder of 0
1502/16= 93 with a remainder of 14 or E. ** This is where i get confused, where am I getting this remainder from?

I have searched the net, I don't want a calculator to do this for me I want to understand what I'm missing.
Any help is appreciated!

The rest would go like this btw,

93/16 = 5 with a remainder of 13 or D
5/16 = 0 with a remainder of 5

So in Hexidecimal it comes out to 5DE0

And yes I'm in Cisco 1.

EDIT-
Note to self, do not round when dealing with hexadecimal figures.

Use calculator in program files -> accessories

Edit: <wow that really > <>things up <> those > < <> > > signs!
