I just want to give a big thanks to anandtechers. Since running in to this site around 6 months ago I learned a lot about computer repair/tweaking, and some of the finer details of computers. I learned overclocking at hardocp, but I learned SO MUCH on these forums. Well in short, I thought for a long time on what I could do to help computer users in general, especially the gamer. I had worked at a computer store that made many unethical decisions (in my book), and cared less about ?how fast their computers are? or ?how long it would last after the warranty is over. I decided that I wanted to try my hard at the world of computer stores. Make someplace that catered to the gamer, and had fair, ethical, helpful staff. I saw places like falcon and alienware out there, but they charged ridiculous prices, and never told you EXACTLY what parts they were putting in. Sure you knew it was KT133A chipset motherboard, but which brand. Asus? Abit? It sure makes a difference to me. And if you wanted a board they did not carry? Tough luck. I wanted someplace with a blank to type in ANY computer part under the sun, and have it special ordered. Maybe my attitude will waste my time. Maybe it will cause me to go out of business. But if I made a few people happy with good CS for a change, I would be a happy camper.
Sure my site still has a lot of stuff to be added to the databases. I am sitting on page after page of spreadsheet entries, debating what to include and what not to. I want to add water-cooling and case-moding to the computers to make them unique. I want to refine the shopping cart and be able to make blow-holes for half the price I am charging now. I need to get rid of the frames on my site and make the html easier on the eyes. I am working on the ratpadz hook-up right now with Kyle. But this all can be done in the future.
