Thank you, Walmart.

Apparently Walmart doesn't know the difference between an Internal and External DVD-RW drive. So I just got an HP 16x DVD-RW, Dual Layer LightScribe External USB 2.0 drive for $79 instead of $130. Profit! It was marked as $79.83 on the pricetag but they had to change it after I left.

I love the HP and I laughed the entire drive home from Walmart. I kept hearing "we have to fix that" over and over again from their ignorant tech lady.

BTW, it's a dvd740e, fully retail. They had to change the price right after I left. Too bad they only had one.

Your username SO fits you.

I know it, and the funny thing is I still have a great girlfriend & life (both being inclusive of course).

You do know that LightScribed DVDs make awesome presents to your SO, right? 😀

No, it was marked as $79.83 on the shelf and I made them price me for what it was marked as. They had to page electronics because they didn't believe me, but once they saw the pricetag they were pissed, yes, but had to honor the price.

Our Wally World people are clueless and we don't have much in the computer line.
