I was looking forward to getting my Tablet PC tc1100 from my college this fall. Turns out they're actually giving us the tc4200, along with an HP PSC 1610 all-in-one. Sweet...

How decent is a 2.0 GHz Centrino?
 
Actually they are not giving you anything. Either your parents, scholarship, college fund is paying (albeit a lower price than stock) for it.

Of course. But it feels so much better having it wrapped into tuition than seeing a receipt that says "HP Tablet PC tc4200, $1700."

2.13GHz is the fastest, 2GHz is second fastest.
Probably nothing new until dual core Yonah in 6 months time, so yeah, it's pretty good.
