Alba fought off some heavyweight contenders for the coveted role of Nancy Callahan in Robert Rodriguez's cult-in-the-making comic-book noir Sin City.

I don't know where this she-can't-act mentality started ... but regardless, why put her down before she has a chance to grow ? She's just 23. She has 3 movies for 2005 and already signed to do another (as well as produce) for 2006. If she can't act, she'd be doing Carmen Electra cameos in lingerie.
