Jeez a guy can't go get lunch ?
lets see 35 out of 170 countries is only 20% of the worlds UN nations that SUPPORT your reasoning that leaves 80% that don't so I guess you know best considering 30-40% of your own don't support it either and they are born and bred their opinions are moot as well eh?
Gotta love an open mind!
BTW Canada has steadfastly said its supports 1441 and UN approval , it doesn't support the US going without the UN.
So bring up 1441 all you want its the US doing its own interpretive dance on that one.
" Will the Canadian government GURANTEE he won't frunish those WMD to terrorist groups that see the US as their enemy also? No,. Can the American Goverment GURANTEE this, yes, and we are doing so right now" Can we guarantee that you won't kill somebody someday ? no? I guess we should apply the needle now then.
Can the American Gov't Guarantee it won't crystalize Arab sentiment against the United States and make terroism worse instead of better No? time to over throw maybe

Svend Robinson,
Canadian Member of Parlaiment
"If this war proceeds it's an illegal war and it's an immoral war and it may very well be that many of us consider Bush a war criminal."

It just gets funnier and funnier.

You all realize of course, that there are politicians that bitch and moan about the war even in US congress, right? I don't see how the fact that Canada has decided to remain neutral in this conflict is a problem. The official gov't position is that we are remaining neutral, whatever happens in the House of Commons is mostly internal bickering. Americans don't need to get their undies in a twist over it.

Actually if they want to remain neutral, that is fine. I don't have a problem with that.
I just think that denouncing GWB as a war criminal is way over the top.

That is what puts my "panties in a bunch".

While conservatives attacked Dhaliwal, NDP Leader Jack Layton defended him.

"Anyone who is going to war without the approval of the United Nations is letting people down worldwide," said Layton.
Lemme see if I've got this straight.
Any country needs the permission of the UN to go to war? Or does that only apply to the US?
We will not leave the security of this country to an organization 85% of which are third world dictators.

I don't see how the fact that Canada has decided to remain neutral in this conflict is a problem. The official gov't position is that we are remaining neutral
If that's true then the PM and MP's need to STFU and be neutral.

Exactly. BTW, nice work with the selective quoting Tiger, why didn't you put in the last part of the sentence that explained the relevence of the MPs comments?
