After 2 years of searching, I've finally decided on a new car. I decided to go with the 2004 BMW 545i. When deciding on the BMW, my original choice was the 530i. But after adding the options, the 545 was a relatively better value. All I have to do is add the Audio Package (would anyone recommend otherwise) to get exactly what I want. I'm $17,000 over my original budget but the car is exactly what I was looking for.
I guess it was also a coincidence because I absolutely hated the old 5-series' design. The new one is more modern, more room, and fresh.
One of the reasons I joined this forum was because of the car threads. I've learned a lot while here. Unfortunately, the 7-series and new 5-series wasn't popular here. But that made it all the more unique.
I plan on buying the car when I have some free time, which should be in March. Now I have to do more research on dealing with salesmen and their tactics. Thanks again
