Several years ago there was a Clearchannel pop station in operation in Baltimore. For some ungodly reason, I picked that time period to begin listening to music - and inexplicably chose that station (probably because it was the most different from my parent's stuff). So I found myself listening to - and enjoying - crap such as Eiffel65, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Backstreet Boys, etc. Then, with no warning whatsoever, the station was changed to a country music station.

For a few days - I was lost. Then I discovered the alt-rock station. Stuck to that for a few hours - and then discovered 98 Rock and my radios havn't been retuned since.

Every once in awhile I revisit the relics of this... troubled time in my life. An Eiffel65 CD (Europop), and a Bloodhoung Gang CD (Hooray for Boobies). The Bloodhound Gang stuff is still good. It always was. It's funny, original, and has at least a mediocre musical value. Eiffel65, though... It's TERRIBLY grating now - I don't know how I lived through it the first time.

In closing, I would like to thank Clearchannel for saving me from a life of depraved mindlessness. Now go die in a fire.

I like it... As a weapon. You could incapacitate entire nations with this stuff (North America, Japan and Europe withstanding, since this kind of crap is the norm there)

It was... Late 99, early 2000, I think. I'm 18 next month, so that means I was... 13?
