I was travelling recently and the Hilton hotels I was staying at only carried ABC, CBS, ABC, and CNN.

Their coverage is disgusting. Any bit of bad news, real or imagined, was sensationalized. No wonder their ratings are going down the crapper.

I'll never watch news on any of these networks again.

I realized that once I started watching FOX news a couple years ago.. O'Reilly is the man. Everyone hates him so he must be right.

I think there's some truth to that.

My favorite news sources are Drudgereport.com and FOX News... I usually listen to some Rush daily as well between classes but I can't believe how the rest of the media is pounding Fox for "patriotic" news coverage. The liberals are saying: "We need to show the horror of what happens when that RPG or missile we fired hit that building"... ummm Hello in WW2 when one of our subs sunk a ship they surfaced and the crew had some fun with the machine guns killing the survivors floating on the water! Come on people this is war here... lol.

These people who think to be in the media means bashing the US drives me nuts...

Yeah, why don't they talk about the horrors of the 2 million or so people Saddam killed.

Over the length of his regime, that averages about 180,000 year.

About 4,000 or so unfortunate civilian were killed (largely because Saddam put arms and military control centers in populated areas), but the way I look at, Bush will be saving the lives of 176,000 Iraqui's/year.

For some reason, the rabid anti-war crowd can't grasp that.

fox doesn't sensationalize things? i guess not, since no one they ever interview can get a word in edgewise over the host shouting at them

Actually Fox has switched over to talking about the Laci Peterson case and I must sday they are being extremely sensationalistic about it. In fact it seems that they have already tried and convicted her husband.

I can't stand Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Shepard Smith. Nevertheless, I prefer a news channel that doesn't take cheap shots at the President every two minutes.

Re, Fox News:

Their coverage is disgusting. Any bit of good news, real or imagined, was sensationalized. No wonder their ratings are going down the crapper.

I'll never watch news on that network again.

Man...

You people are following a blind man.

I suggest that EVERYONE, from BOTH sides of the spectrum, re-evaluate what it means to be a new orginization.

Try not to use the word 'liberal' or 'conservative'.

I'm not anti-war, but where did you get the 2 million number?

I truly and honestly believe everyone needs to re-evaluate what they think is political scale.

NO news originzation is THAT ultra-liberal or THAT ultra-conservative. News is always sensationalized becuase that's what gets viewers (or did in the past).

An article in the NY Times by John F Burns says 1 million Iraqi's have been murdered. I've heard from other sources that the number is 2 million.

Even if you assume the lower number, this action has saved the lives of 86,000/yr.

I watch all the news channels, they all have people I hate and people I like. For example, whenever Geraldo is on, I change the channel. I like O'Reilly on Fox and Lou Dobbs on CNN.

i'd rather (gasp!) actually watch what's really happening than flag-waving chest-beating nationalism. fox is the closest thing america has to Iraq TV. try not to be the enemy.

I guess you listen to Howard Stern when you can't find a fox news station around, then?

Everyone hates Howard? Frankly, his schtick wears thin pretty quickly. I can't take more than 5 minutes of him.

Yeah, Geraldo's pretty tough to take. I generally turn him off too. Isn't he running out of networks.

I like O'Reilly and Lou Dobbs also.

I like Alternative Radio out of Denver. The Pacifica network is good too. Bernie Ward and Ray Talliferro on KGO are pretty middle of the road. NPR and the BBC are good. I watched all the networks during the war and fox was the biggest joke. CNN or MDNBC, I can't remember which, had newspapers from around the world to look at what was being reported world wide and also TV clips from different countries. That was great. CNN seemed to be the least jingoistic. All Fox did was talk about exclusive, can't be seen anywhere else garbage from this or that sensationally placed impacted reporter.

If you like what you hear on the news it isn't news, it's an affirmation of your present brainwashed state. If what you know is from the America media, you don't know anything but propaganda. You also don't know you don't know.

::sigh:: its like people can't believe it whenever somethign goes right with the country. Why not watch all the channels, and decide for yourself what to take to heart?

Which is 4 more minutes than I can take of the Hot Bag of Noxious gas, Rush Limbaugh and 5 minutes more than I can handle of that Hysterical Republican Yapping Lapdog Sean Hannity and his Nerdly Counterpart, Colmes.

Oh, really. Ever hear of Paul Adams from the BBC? You might be curious to know what he says about his own news organization.

Your World with Neil Cavuto and Hannity and Colmes (even though Hannity is a retard) are the only things I like watching on Fox News. Otherwise I just put it on mute and watch the news ticker.
