thank YOU good lord, the games that I bought on the AT FS/T forums have arrived ... work's so freakin slow that I blazed thru Far Cry 2 in a few days and for the 4 days I've been going out of the fuggin mind - I think I reached the end of the internet (pr0n excluded)

and NOW ...

FALLOUT 3 or MASS EFFECT - which one should I play first?!

YES, I CAN FEEL MY SANITY RETURNING !!!
 
Mass Effect. It's a better story and you can get through it (with completing the majority of side quests like me) in 40 hrs or under. Fallout 3 will take 100s to do the same. Of course you can probably barrel through either in 10 hrs each if you want to miss the point of them =P
 
where do you guys work that

A) no one notices or cares if you game at work
B) your computers can actually run these games

I work for a major financial publication in advertising ... my boss is pretty cool about it, as long as I get my work done. I work fast AND take up a lot of slack from my co-worker who's dumber than a rock (other than her spectacular presentations), so the 3-4 hours that I spend gaming is pretty well tolerated. It has solidified my reputation as geek tho :\

3-4 hours a day... that is insane! i feel like i'll get caught if i watch youtube for 2 minutes 🙁
 
play mass effect, do every side quest, and level up completely, and then finish the main quest, then start it over and play through it again, doing everything you can do. That should take about 1-2 days.

Then play F3, and you'll be kept busy for weeks.
