Just downloaded and started playing it last night. Figured I'd mention it here for anyone looking for something new to try. Nice visuals in this game. The english could use a little work, but hey, it's free!

Been playing for a few days, game is pretty good. It doesn't have graphics like WoW but what do you expect for free.

I swear, all the asian free beta mmorpgs use the exact same website template. Doesn't really inspire me to try many of them out. :(

Give Thang a try, won't cost anything :)

Sure, I'll throw in screenshots I took too.

Kal Online (Screenshots) was fun for a couple months but then it turned in to a constant grind session. Had a level 32 archer and a level 25 mage before I got bored with it.

Xiah (Screenshots) was alright for a week or two and then I got bored with it.

Those are the only two I've tried recently. They both look nice enough and are decent games but after a while you run out of things to do. I get bored of killing the same thing over and over but it seems that's how all MMORPGs end up being. For reference I've also played Priston Tale (~2 months) and Star Wars Galaxies (~4 months).

Here's links to various other free and/or beta MMORPGs I've heard of but haven't bothered trying. Maybe you'll find something that suits your fancy.

Knight Online
Rubies of Eventide
Mu Online
ROSE Online

Graphics are not great, no one said good graphics? Are you unable to read english?
Graphics alone do not make a game, get a clue

Maybe you didn't understand my point. You said it doesn't have graphics like WoW, which implies the graphics aren't as good. My joke was turning that around, to point out how ugly WoW is.

Its called Thang Online? Am I the only one who wonders who would name a game Thang Online? BTW Nohr is right that most of these mmorpgs get very repetitive after maybe a week or two

I decided to try out Knight Online and have been playing it the past couple days. So far it's alright. The graphics aren't quite as good as Kal or Xiah but they're perfectly acceptable. Runs at 10-25fps at 1600x1200@32 at highest quality which is smooth and playable for a game of this type (on my Barton 2.2/FX5900nu).

There's quite a few quests to keep you busy (more than Kal or Xiah at least). You can be either a human or an orc and choose from 4 different classes: rogue (archer or assassin), warrior, mage, and priest. Gameplay is pretty hack and slash oriented and items drop often.

One negative is that there are literally hundreds of people running around, probably over a thousand at least. At least that's the impression I get from the main town and it's surrounding areas. I haven't been to other towns or anything so it may be less crowded elsewhere. With so many people it's hard to not KS or be KS'd. It also is difficult to effectively navigate the player shops if you're looking for something in particular because they're all crowded together. This may only be an issue on my particular server though (Belarus1) and might be different on others. There's around 8 servers total.

1600x1200 Screenshots

Currently have a lvl22 rogue archer.

Edit: Also there's PvP of some fashion though I know nothing about it.
