LOL@libruls... meanwhile in Africa humans are being treated worse, but no one cares because they're not cuddly and cute.

How about prioritizing your misguided causes and do something that would actually matter?

Yea, like it's only the liberals that think this is a cruel and heartless practice, meanwhile we can't invade and occupy every country where a dictator makes the lives of it's peoples horrific, we do and have tried to send food to these people but 9/10 times it's taken over by the one's with the guns and sold somewhere else, it's not even safe to steam past the fucking coastline without the risk of being attacked by pirates. Care to form a military and go over there and straighten things out?, go ahead, good luck with that. One more thing, this is a real situation, not a staged video to "pull at the heartstrings of the stupids", if ignorance were gold you'd be a millionaire..

**Warning**

This video is very graphic and should only be watched if you can stomach the brutality and violence that these dogs go through.

Currently, this is a huge problem in Thailand. Stray dogs and even domesticated dogs are being taken from Thailand and shipped to places like Vietnam. They are then skinned alive and brutalized. A horrible death.

You can help out these poor dogs by visiting the Soi Dog Foundation website. Once there you can sign the petition to stop this cruelty, and you can even donate as little as $5 if you like.

Canine Green. Bush Meat is getting scarce, the oceans are three quarters fished out, do you know the amount of pig anus sold as imitation squid?

Yes, animals slaughtered here are done so in the most humane way possible, cattle for example are killed with a gun that drives a large projectile directly into it's head, killing it instantly, no animals slaughtered here are dropped alive into boiling water or tortured to supposedly "tenderize" the meat. I'm not thrilled with the conditions that most chickens are raised in but that is slowly changing as people were made aware that they spent their entire lives in a tiny cage that's too small to even turn around in. What gets me is it's much cheaper to raise chickens than digs for meat, chickens mature quickly, are cheap to hatch by the thousands from eggs and taste great, the only reason people are torturing and killing dogs is that in Vietnam and other parts of Asia dogmeat is an "upgrade" from pork or chicken, fucking scum of the earth for doing this shit..
Except that they aren't. Like I said, I live right next to a Hallal meat processor and-ZOMG-*I* live in the USA!

PETA has shown what they claim are live chickens being boiled for USA chains and, from what people are saying here, the OP's video does not show live skinning and boiling of these dogs. Sounds like you've got it completely backwards.

I knew you were stupid, because obviously you didn't really get the gist of what I'm saying.

Let me bold it for you "HOW ABOUT DONATING TO A MORE PRESSING CAUSE?". Or, you know, spend time on a more worthwhile cause?

You're just like that dumb chick that'd get on a surfboard to protest the killing of whales. Because, you know, it's cool.

Yes, b/c you can't do both. So, what are you doing about this more pressing cause? Individuals can decide on their own what causes are most important to them. Troll elsewhere.

You can easily find videos where dogs are skinned alive and cats dropped in boiling water alive.

Halal processors are known for their "traditional" methods which, not surprisingly are more brutal than modern techniques. I think its fair to say that the generally western European traditions which we have inherited in the U.S. include a long history of animal husbandry and humane slaughtering methods, and they have only gotten more humane over the years. Other cultures have a different relationship with animals, and you can find plenty of video evidence of villagers killing them in fairly inhumane ways (chopping a live hog in half with an axe, for example). My ancestors may have been similarly careless 1500 years ago or so.

I'm not crying about it and feigning interests.

I get it, some people care about large sodas. Not all of us are stupid, though.

How about I decide what's an issue if I choose to donate?, your like that asshole that has to disagree with anyone, anytime, over anything. I think it's called.......A FUCKING TROLL....

A troll I may be, but at least I'm not misguided with idiotic ideas.

I don't disagree with anything, anyone, anytime... I actually agree with people that do the sensible things; I agree with fixing our healthcare system; I agree that education should be this nation's priority; I agree that we should fix our country first before we try to fix others; etc...

You agree with useless shits that don't actually matter, therein the difference.

Turn on the TV. Watch the news. What's going on in Israel? Iran? Libya? Ukraine? Africa? Etc... People are being displaced, killed, maimed, no water, no food, no home.

Look closer to home, there are a myriad of things that you should care about.

But no, you bleed for some fucking dogs somewhere.

Get the fuck outta here.

You guys act surprised about a country that eats every single animal that crawls, slithers, flys.

how much have you given?

Dogs have been living with us, according to recent research, for possibly as long as 50k years or more. We probably would not be where we are, as a species, if it weren't for our partnership with dogs. Anyone who kills and eats them for food is a heartless asshole, and any culture that accepts that dogs are a normal source of meat needs to be nuked flat. Ok, that's probably a little extreme. Just burn everything to the ground, that way radiation won't prevent the survivors from rebuilding.

Based on what? Western standard and cultural norms? Asians have been eating dogs as food for thousands of years. I don't agree with with the cruel way they kill their food, but I am open minded enough to not judge them for it.

Indian people don't eat beef as cows are sacred in their culture. By your logic, they should nuke you because westerners eats beef as a "normal source of meat".

No different that eating any other animal, imo. Not sure why a dog raised to be eaten is any different that a cow raised to be eaten.

Could never figure out why it was okay to eat some animals, and not others. Tuna ok, dolphin, you bastard!

I'm sure I probably ate some strange meat varieties while in Korea, but dog was very expensive. You never knew what was being sold on the street, but tipsy and hungry often overcame any concerns.

Cruelty is a whole other thing, though...

If you are going to kill an animal to eat it, you should kill it humanely.

Now then, I heard stories in Korea about the meat being much better if the dog was killed while it was all riled up...

If they make me kill my own animals, I'd probably go full vegan. Come on lab grown meat...

I shutter when naive folks harangue me because I won't help them "change the world" in regards to stuff like this. We've got real problems at home, but we refuse to address them because tweeting "save the dogs!" is easier and makes us feel better.

My company does microfinance loans to country like thailand/vietnam, etc. One guy approach us to borrow money for his dog operation. Apparently dog operation is booming in vietnam, this was in 2011, he probably have similar factory/operation like that.

We did not invest but he probably secure a loan from else where.. Korea has dogs on menu also. Certain places offer dog as menu option in nyc. Just need to ask for it.

This isn't any different from hunting whales & etc.

Well, if we're having a serious conversation then you're obviously right, but based on the far more relevant criteria that I love dogs and Asians eat crazy shit, you're wrong.

Maybe, b/c in many cultures dogs are considered pets and companions, let alone all of the services they've assisted man in the tens of thousands of years.

I recently met a woman with a service dog who is able detect seizures before the woman has one. The dog has a surgical implant that sends a distress signal to 911 when the dog becomes stressed due to his owner's impending seizure.

I sure tuna could do that too.

Pig saves life without implants. Should we stop eating pigs too? Lol
