Thai Cafe

So.. my daughter is hanging out with Grandmother, so my wife and I decide to go to a little restaurant on Main Streen in little Miami Lakes (not Miami) called "Thai Kitchen."

OH MY GOD!!!!

This place is awesome!!!

At first it was intimidating because it only seats 15 families and has a sushi bar that only seats six.

We had a smoked salmon and cream cheese with scallion sushi roll for an appetizer. They were big in diameter and VERY FRESH! Even the ginger was fresh! Probably the best I've had in a long time, and that includes my recent trip to Taiwan.

For our entrees, I had the Pan Dan Man Pak Bug Fu Tang... the beef in coconut milk with red curry and green peppers and bamboo shutes. My wife had the Puk Fan Do Wan Pop Fan Do, or the pork with clear noodles in oyster sauce.

Little did we know that they would bring us EACH a platter that could feed two. Needless to say, we have leftovers.

And wow! They were good.

And even with my beer, the bill was only $35.

I strongly suggest if you're ever at the end of I-75 (exit 1A) to stop in Miami Lakes, pull into main street and get some Thai Cafe.

I have only had Phad Thai.. and it is good.. Thats not true, I had Gang Dang chicken, and I didnt like it.

Also, am I the only white person that thinks "thai hot" isnt very hot?

Even the stuff with the "*" next to it wasn't hot at all.

Ask for fish sauce, the one with the hot peppers in it, then you can make it as hot as you want, they should also have a spice tray with three or four different hot pepper sauces.
