Kojima's PlayStation 3 debut on the show floor, but in what form?

Having previously announced that this year's Tokyo Game Show will be the largest yet, organiser CESA (the Computer Entertainment Software Association) has revealed a basic list of games that will be on display - with more to be confirmed.

Looking at next-generation stuff first: the highest-profile title currently announced by a third party is probably Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4. It's not yet confirmed what will be on show, but hopefully it'll be a bit more than the (admittedly amusing) E3 trailer, which was basically just an elaborate in-joke.

Konami will also have the likes of Winning Eleven 9 and Metal Gear Acid 2 on PSP, its new Castlevania titles on PS2 and DS, and a new entrant in Hideo Kojima's sun-sensor Boktai series for Game Boy Advance.

Square Enix fans can look forward to Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII as well as Code Age Commanders (both on PS2), while the likes of KOEI, Atlus, and even Atari Japan have also pledged to show new titles off.

We also understand that Sony and Microsoft are preparing their plans for the show at present, and should have more detail to announce in the coming weeks.
