TF2 Crashing for everyone now?

It looks like a small update was pushed for TF2 today. There are no patch notes and everyone I've talked to so far is having the game crash almost immediately after being run. Anyone know what's going on? I just got my new 4770 and was excited to try it out

Yes, I replied to some threads in the official Valve forums about it, I took a picture too: http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/7766/errorb.gif

It's occurring since the last Steam update of today (no updates were made to TF2 itself though, unless it was a silent one and Steam never told me). It's currently a known issue by the players, and I hope Valve fixes it today.

I've just re-started Steam, and TF2 itself has received an update. It's working fine now. That was fast from Valve.

well, i had the same problem, and i just reinstalled. that worked. guess i missed that mini patch though.

I had some issues initially when i just updated, but since then it has been allright.

I played last night for about 1-2 hours with no problem. That was around 9PM.
