Thats funny. I was just playing CS Source this weekend for a half hour and I never noticed this discount.
I also downloaded about 6 videos and must have been routed back to the main page about 20 times.

Never once saw the deal.

I haven't used steam to download games before. What happens when I get a new computer? Do they let me download TF2 again?

unlimited downloads for life....but you can only play it on one computer at a time. If it detects the same account logged on somewhere else, you will be kicked off.

Snagged it this weekend. Pretty fun game... but I am in DOD:source mode and I was unable to kill anyone in TF2. I guess I need to shut off DoD for a while and just play TF2.

Kind of strange that you have to change your player name in steam and not in the game... oh well. Took me a bit to figure that out. ANyway, I just wasted the last four hours getting into it. I like the medic.

Does anyone know if the team fortress series has anything to do with quake3 fortress? That game had nearly identical classes to this one...

yup you can. just not the same game.
