Texture Flashing with 6800GT

I built my system with a new eVGA 6800GT PCIe card and it ran great for a while. Got my NV Silencer 5 and installed it(incorrectly the first time, but the core never even got close the throttle-back point) and temps went down nicely and all was good. I played around with overclocking a little bit and noticed some artifacts at a point...black lines and such extending from the testures. So I'd decrease it a bit and I'de be fine.

But seeminlgy all of a sudden, textures have begun to flash in all of my 3d applications. Faces will become distorted and legs dissappear for a split second, only to reappear in the wrong area. It's not happening to all of the textures, and it doesn't prevent me from playing games, but it certainly is annoying. It also seems to get worse the longer I play a game, but it seems to fluctuate. I haven't seen load temps above 75 degrees, and they're usually a fair bit lower than that. As I type this, the idle temp is 57 degrees. I've used a few different drivers, the current nVidia drivers, 71.25 drivers and current Omega drivers with all the same result.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Could this be due to inadequate memory cooling? Is it possible the NV5 is cooling the core fine but not the RAM? I had always assumed artifacts were the result of memory that was pushed too far. Also, 3dmark has been giving me texture corruption errors at times(usually after running tests for a few minutes). Could this also be due to the hot memory?
