I was pricing my books for this semester locally and it will be around $500-$600.

Has anyone used half.com and would recommend it? Are there other sites you folks use to buy your textbooks?
 
half.com seems to be the best place...just make sure to buy from a person with a semi decent feedback...a lot of guys on there too are big dealers and even though the book is listed it mgiht not be in stock...or even if thy have it in stock they mgiht not ship (but do return $$). I dunno how it all works but ive gotten screwed a couple times like that...luckly i didnt loose money but if u shop there early wont start off semester wihtout books.
 
it takes about 3-5 days depending on how far away from you they are. but the price cant be beat, i just bought a $100 book for for $40 shipped brand new.
