Wow, im extremely impressed with the quality of Text to Speech AT&T has come up with.. Check it out for youself... I think the Male voice sounds a little more realistic than the female one, but i dunno, both sound good...
Sounds pretty good if you use extremely common words. However, the female voice mispronounced "put" when I typed in a classic line from "Cruel Intentions".

Damn I wish my answering machine sounded nice like this... Come to think of it, why the fvck doesn't it sound like that? I mean, it's just a recorded voice; it's not computer generated - so they purposely recorded it to sound like a computer. BOO.
that is pretty good. didn't old macs have something like this. I remember setting it to say 100 pages of text and starting at the end of school when we left.

Is it recorded? Im pretty sure its computer generated cause you can type in proper names and it will say them, dunno exactally how they would do that... Unless it was broken down into syllables or something of the sort.. Anyone know?
I called my brother once and used one of these. It was hilarious. I was pretending I was a hostage taker calling him for negotiations or something. About 10 seconds in he laughed and heard me typing
I must have WAV files set to play on the integrated-browser media player.
There does nto seem to be any menu which would contain a save option.
Is there?
