Text on my screen jitters?

Sometimes when i'm sitting here the text on screen will jitter a little, not a whole lot like it's a pain, but jsut kinda gets wavy and distorted real quick, yet small too. is this a video issue? i'm running a voodoo3 3000.
 
when did it start? recently? have you tried degaussing your monitor? are there any weird magnetic fields around the monitor? (aka other monitors, tv's, power blocks?)
