Text message ppl from the internet?

Is there a way to send text messages to people through the web somehow? Thought i remember hearing about it somewhere

yeah I know...she has an unlimited plan whereas im limited to 200 a month 🙁 So i can send thru here from work and she can reply to my phone 😀

You can do +1########## as a screen name in AIM and it will send it to the cell phone too.

Try using www.sms.ac
It works for US to UK..donno abt Italy but in all probability it does


Yahoo Messenger also allows sending sms to some countries...check out if Italy is included
