Texas woman found guilty after running over husband

Good. I found it laughable that she was claiming she wasn't guilty when she ran him over multiple times.....😕

"He was all over the road, your honour... so I had to swerve a lot to hit him!" 😉

She ran over him three times. Not forward-back-forward, mind you. According to witnesses, she made three laps around the parking lot. Yeah, it was an accident.

"Three times," tennis player Oscar Torres replied, adding that he saw the car make three complete circles in the parking lot before stopping.

good, i still have some trust in the justice system.....if she was released, you'd have to set free 1/4 of the jail population.

Harris, 45, stood stoically as the verdict was read, her lawyer's arms around her. She faces up to life in prison, though the punishment could be reduced if jurors decide she acted with "sudden passion."

I'd say 20-30 years is enough for her. Life is a tiny bit too harsh. As always my opinion is always naive 🙂

She still might be released.

The guilty judgement was a foregone conclusion. It is the punishment phase where the suprises could come.

If they find she acted in a fit of passion, she could be give probation and released immediately.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens.

Temporary insanity defense has made many lawyer rich and many criminals escape the true extent of law. Good thing this pscyho lady won't be able to escape a date with the prison rich.
