Executions are morally wrong; no one should ever be executed for any reason. It's a barbaric practice instituted by a barbaric justice system.

just curious, would you say the same thing if one of those people had murdered your family or something?
I'd have to try to find a way to forgive them and hope they can be rehabilitated and brought back into society where they can do good instead of causing more pain. Every effort should be spent on trying to rehabilitate these people instead of killing them.

Somehow i doubt that, and though some criminals can be rehabilitated i would say that a geat number cant be.

Some people just have bad wiring & can't be fixed. Child molesters for instance...

They ran a special on frontline a few weeks back which convinced me a good number of them are innocent. They methods they used to brain wash the kids into providing false testinomy was shocking to me. Basically they keep proding the children with the same questions until the children gave what the childwelfare workers wanted to hear. Then since the child does'n testify the case worker who brain washed the child provides the damning testinmony.

One case was a family from Iran, a Dr man, who have very much different customs than ours, was video tapped kissing his daughter on the mouth at his sons basktball game. This statred the siezure of the chilren by child services then they did the brain washing and the family lost the chilren and the guy did 10 years...Anyway once the girl grew up she went looking for her parents and said it was all BS.

Before anyone mentions how Texas excuted retarded people. Then Gov. Clinton made a point to go back to Arkansas to excute a young retarded man during his first run for President.

Simple. Ive heard people on here bash Bush and Texas for executing retarded people. They arent the only one, it was a common practice till the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional.
