Since liberals are so keen on licenses and training.. we should have a license to have a child and training for that. If there is anything that does massive damage to society its stupid parents. Then again, most of those people become Democrats so they really don't care.

I agree. Those are stupid things to do and screams...lack of training and good sense.
A good instructor is essential to ingraining the responsibility that wielding a firearm carries, something that Nebor's instructor noticeably lacked.
I had good instructors (Marines and a former Army Gny Sgt.), who taught me both how to handle and respect firearms.

Same here. My firearms instructor really taught me to both safely handle firearms and obtain a high level of proficiency with them. I used to love competitive marksmanship, but I haven't competed in years. In fact, firearms safety should be a standard part of the curriculum in public schools. This includes instilling proper respect and techniques in the use of firearms so that we can exercise our second amendment rights responsibly.

What a partisan hack.

Then take him to court.

He can give the class to whomever he wants. I do not think the State has a dog in this fight.

I know that is is a sort of derail, but are you saying that in the same vain those muslim students at the Catholic University have a case that the school must bow to their request for a place to pray that is in compliance with their, not the Catholic, religion.

It's the same thing. We either have freedom or we don't. Choose.

In case you haven't read half the thread, you would be wrong.

I learned gun use and safety from my father when I was just a little guy. The Marine Corps re-enforced those lessons.

No, I would not be wrong on my opinion that the State does not have the authority to direct who we teach, like, or how we run our businesses. You are right that the State tried to do this all the time. Doesn't make it right.

Admitting you are a troll is the first step to redemption.

Someone's political views, even extreme ones, don't impact their ability to teach firearms safety and regulations. It has more to do with their ability to teach.

State and federal law prohibits the refusal of service based on religion. End of story.

So not only does the state have a dog in this fight, but that redneck who bears a striking resemblance to you is going to have the same lesson in state law that you just got.

Would never happen. Revocation will only be considered on the testimony of TEA agents. And Texas doesn't allow for frivolous torts like that.

If he actually refused service to someone based on their religion he could absolutely be sued for it in Texas or anywhere else, as well he should be.

If you are refusing to rent to them based on gender, race, religion, or several other things (with some exceptions) you can and should most certainly be stopped. Since I personally have never tried to rent from you I would not be able to sue you for it because I would lack standing, but you are placing yourself in legal jeopardy.

This was in the vicinity of Jasper, Texas. Certainly an area known for it's tolerance, open-mindedness and consideration of civil rights.

I have several stories of coworkers and friends experiencing racism and discrimination in the area, including from law enforcement when attempting to report a crime.

The best is the story about a girl shooting the guy behind her with an S&W 500:

Boyfriend and his friends thought seeing his girlfriend shoot the 500 would be funny. Loaded the 500 with 5 rounds, handed it over (go look up the size of the 500. If you've shot a .44 loaded with hot rounds, or a 460, you know what a 500 will be like.) Girl fired gun. Muzzle flip caused gun to rise over her head. Kept going until it was pointed behind her. Instinctively trying to control it, she was pulling back on it. And squeezing it. The trigger reset, and she fired a second round. Boyfriend didn't have an open casket funeral.

It's lore a the local range in Bellevue, unsure if it's true, but it's somewhat believable. Guns, like power tools, need a healthy dose of fear, and a huge helping of common sense.

People have complained to S&W about this double fire since the gun was released. S&W maintains its from pulling the trigger twice. Check out the video though.

Unsure though if your story is true.
