What's your strategy when playing Texas Hold Em?

If your two cards are both less than 10, do you fold?

depends on position, number of ppl playing, yada yada yada. if i'm late position, with pocket pairs under 10, i'll usually bet heavy/go all in. early position, definite fold with cards under 10

really bad strategy above. read a book! i suggest theory of poker by sklansky.

yes you fold. if you have 2 aces, you also fold, that's not a good hand.

basically the point of this thread is that you should play some, read a book, and develop your own playing style/strategy. what i posted above seems to work for me. its not a rule i always follow, more of a guideline.

The only thing that sucks is if you lose your play money you have to wait 24 hours lol.

so thats what i been doing wrong! i keep betting on 2 aces and tossing my pair of 3's!

well you look really really hard at your computer screen and try to figure out what your oppenant is playing. If they type sweaty they maybe nervous and have a good hand, or they might have a bad hand. Then if they type eagerly they probably have a really good hand.
