Interesting. So, you consider a sperm cell and an egg cell to be inanimate, dead matter? You don't consider the sperm to be alive? You don't think the egg is living cell? But, when they combine together, suddenly it's alive? That's not what I learned in biology class. I learned that sperm have little tails (male tails a little longer than female tails), and they can "swim" around.

You are correct. I was talking about federal taxes and not state taxes (hence the mentioning of the Hyde amendment) but yes, state medicade funds can pay for abortions in 15 states.

Women's rights wrt to abortion are well established in this country. Attempts like the one in Texas are extremely dishonest. Yes, it's your right, and no, it can't happen here. They'd make it so everywhere if they could.
