when did fresno state become a running team, last time i saw them against usc they were all about throwing long bombs

After David Carr left for the nfl in 2002, the bulldogs put more emphasis on the run and had a lot of success with it.

Damn :(. About as much a drainer as the loss at USC a couple years ago. The rest of the season is going to suck.

good effort by both teams, I have to say Texas a&m's option offense is really painful to watch ;)

fade route is not the call to make for a 2pt conversion unless you know your WR is much bigger and more dominant than their best corner.

Yup. the WR was neither. I think they should have called a play action and thrown it to the TE. He catches everything that comes near him and had 3 TD catches on the day. Oh well.

didn't fresno state play the ducks pretty close the last 2 years

2005 was a 3 point loss up in Eugene(37-34). Last year was a 31-24 loss here in Fresno. I'm hoping for another close game. I love watching college football games that go down to the wire. :thumbsup:
