Awesome app, acts like a wifi router once you get it set up. I get 65Kbyte down and 40kbyte up

Thanks, Halik. That release slipped past me. That could be handy sometimes.

I noticed that SwirlyMMS has also been released for Cydia for 2.X firmware iPhones. It provides full MMS functionality for the iPhone for $8 (after a 2 week trial).

It looks like Cydia is slowly recovering from the 2.X migration and is starting to get more apps.

They are both hacked apps. Since there's a lot more money to be made in the AppStore, I presume they are being release hacked-only because they both seem to have been denied by Apple's appstore rules. To install them you need to have a jailbroken iPhone and then run Cydia which is one of the two jailbroken iPhone app installers.

Ah ok, thanks! I'm still too scared to jailbreak my iphone since it's finally working right after the latest update update.

Definitely one of the best apps out there. I love it-- speeds are great and very useful at times where wifi is not ubiquitous.

Erm. Both. :)

It's using the iPhone as an adhoc WiFi network for a laptop to connect into and then connecting the laptop to the internet over EDGE or 3G depending which iPhone you happen to have.

So it's a free service to connect your laptop to the paid data plan that you have with your wireless carrier. :)

Cool...thx.

Haven't tried to tether with it but did download Cydia thru Installer on my phone.

Are these instructions HERE current for configuring the two devices?
