Ok, so I know this title will send chills down most readers BUT
I am starting a small tutoring business. Students using software over the cloud is a mandatory part of this.
I have had a 100Mbps connection on order from before Christmas, but so far, no dice.
What I want to do is use mobile data for up to 4 pc's at a time. The software is all browser based and should not use too much data (although it will still cost a lot). From a quick test, the biggest issue is the latency of the mobile connection rather than the speed.
My question is this, is my phone (Mi Max or Galaxy S4) going to provide less reliable access than dedicated hardware. I am imagining leaving the s4 plugged in as a permanent 'router'.
As this is an interim solution I don't want to spend too much but spending 100-200 on a dedicated wifi thingo might be worth it if it reduces the likelihood of issues.
Has anyone had to do something like this?
