Tethered Droid as broadband modem

Initially I just want to connect a Sonos to the Droid over wifi to get Pandora. The Sonos requires a hardwired ethernet connection. If I plug the Sonos into a Linksys WET610N will I be able to connect over wifi to the rooted droid?

If later I want to add some stuff like a laptop or whatnot, can I just plug the WET610N into a router/AP?

Well, you can either:

A) use wireless tether to create a wifi hotspot with the Droid. I don't know if Pandora will stream that way though, but I don't see any reason why not (outside of ram/cpu use and heat issues).

B) use wired tether (google "Droid wired tether" there is a google project out there for wired tether app) to connect to USB. This will give you higher data rates.

Either way you need a rooted Droid. The wireless option would need a router that can work as a bridge. Outside of that, just try it lol.
