testing thoughtput of cables?

I have made several cables with CAT 5 wire and IDEAL ends. I haven't run into any transfer problems, but I am curious to know if my home-made cables can run at the full speed of my network. Is there any testing program I can run? I have a linksys SR41 router with lynksys 10/100 NIC's.

To test the physical cable itself you'll need a cable tester like a Fluke device. What that measures is signal loss in db.

Bascially if the cable is working it's running at "full" speed.
