Hello hello,
I'm a business / engineering grad student working on a team project that's considering developing another mobile social networking client for web-enabled cell phones. We'd like to make an app that would let you maintain a profile, and locally broadcast it to other phones in the area. You would be able to see the profiles of the people around you, so before you go up to talk to somebody, you could have an idea of what you both have in common. So, once you find somebody, you either IM them from afar (also through the program) or just go right up and already have something to talk about! If you're like:D me, you wouldn't mind meeting other people, but it's annoying to have to do a bunch of smalltalk just to find out that you don't have anything in common, you know? So I'd use this tool to find cool people at a party, or at a bar, or whatever. Anyway, I made up a little survey on SurveyMonkey, and I'd sure appreciate any feedback you guys (and gals!) have on the idea.

Thanks a lot,
Justin
PS: I know there are a *zillion* MoSoCo's out there, and if anyone knows of a service that does something like this (besides Jambo, I already found them!), I'd sure love to hear about it.
