I hope to gather some advice on how to test a display on the spot. Say I have a few models in mind and the final choice is up to their live performance. You know that you can't ask the retailer to give you a few hours to play Warcraft and watch a movie on each screen for testing purposes. So, what is the most efficient and fast way to test how a monitor performs on the spot? I was thinking something in the lines of draging around the screen a paint color tablet to see if there are any anomalities. Also a full black screen to check for bleeds. Maybe there is a website that offers such testing screens/applications?
Any ideas?
