I got a new high quality PSU tester... I was testing one of my old power supplies, all the lights on the 24-pin connector come on except for the -5V light. Does that mean the PSU is no good? It still seems to power on and the computer works fine. Please advise.

The -5 V rail was removed from the ATX spec. Unless you have some particular piece of (older) hardware that specifically requires the -5 V rail, this is completely fine.

Last board I remember needing a -5V rail was an MSI Socket 7 micro ATX board dated 2001. ;)
