Testing cheap ebay microsd

I'd like to pick up a couple MicroSC 32GB to put copies of music/books/movies for portable use, and I found some for like $3.39 shipped from China. No brand, some orange, some black, claimed class 10. Given the usage planned I am thinking about buying two or three if I can reliably test them prior to use.

What are some good test programs?

For $20 or less you can get them from a legit buyer (saw one on dell.ca for $20, and should be cheaper in the US) with a warranty and easier money back. Usually, you get what you pay for and for a few bucks, wouldn't think it's worth the trouble.
 
Microcenter has the house branded lifetime warranty 32gb for $13, same price as 4 from China.

Cheap ebay items from China carry risk, mostly of wasting time with a failed product, but still getting an easy full refund. Getting what you pay for is a joke in the modern world where the exact same product might be sold in different venues or brands applied at vastly different prices. Quality and price need to be judged independently.
 
There's no risk with buying those cheap/fake sdcards from ebay since paypal will give you a refund, you're just wasting time since it takes 2-6 weeks for them to arrive. Buy something locally to save time.
 
People who have checked such stuff found they were usually real products that were scrapped because they were under performing or had faults. Kind of like they usually only make a single CPU but sell them under various prices and speeds and the high end are 3-4 times the cost of the low end and some times even selling 8core CPU's as 4 core or 2 core since the other cores had problems. It is the same here. I highly doubt any of these vendors have the capability to make chips or even test thm properly. They most likely stick a new label on them which actually means nothing. Also they might work just fine, just that thq QA had failed and in circumstances they might fail as well. But we have a lot of uses that does not require such high quality stuff and if the price is right, its like a throw away that if it works for a while its great. I would not use them for important events or rely on them to keep my data safe.
