Testing an overclock, what program?

depends if u want to benchmark it against othe CPUs or check the stability.
I would suggest SISoft Sandra for benchmark tests, and the "torture test" for stability. Just type those names in a search engine
 
for gaming i use q3a's demo "torture.dm3"
for overall sys stability i've been using Prime95 (i've read about it in the forums and i used it for every 5Mhz FSB increments)..

live and learn that's what i'm tryin to do here ... 😀
 
the one I use is 3DMark 2001, which will not run when others will. Either it has a problem, or it reveals the computer's shortcomings better. Don't know for sure.
