I have a WD 500 GB Black drive that just arrived. What software would be the best to use to test the drive? What's the most important things to look for? I assume the number of bad sectors. Any advice appreciated.
 
Usally I'll just to a format and zero all data a couple times. If that works, the drive is fine. If that doesn't work, RMA it.
