This article is almost 5 years old. References V4 of Firefox. No changes since this article appeared? What would be the downside of the browser config change to HTML5? I do not have Flash installed on my laptop.

I did, but I don't have a sufficient background to comprehend the technical nuisances.I've wondered the same thing, but I don't see any problems as of yet. I guess you would have to read what WebRTC does.
Makes me think that I need it. Also, I did something, recommended to me in these forums, to keep videos from automatically playing. Many times, I want to read, not watch. Autoplay may appeal to the masses, but it drove me crazy. How this was accomplished, I don't remember. But I really like this "feature".
